Group tours covering the Marble Mountains, usually with the Lady Buddha on Son Tra, were listed from around 22 to 43 US dollars per person on the main booking sites in September 2026. Most include a shared van with hotel pickups, an English-speaking guide, the main entry ticket and water; some include a simple lunch.
What is often left out: the elevator, Am Phu cave, and tips. Many itineraries also include a stop at a marble showroom, which costs nothing unless you buy but takes time from the morning.
How much does a private tour cost?
Our private tours are priced per group, not per person, so the cost per head falls as the group grows. The car and the guide are the same for one guest or four.

Prices are the total for the group and include hotel pickup in Da Nang, a private car, a licensed local guide who speaks fluent English, every entrance ticket including the elevator and Am Phu cave, and water; the full day adds lunch, the Hoi An old-town ticket and the boat. Free pickup and drop-off at any Da Nang hotel. Hoi An hotels: Transfer surcharge +$25.
Which way is best value?
For a solo traveller or a couple who only want the Marble Mountains, going on your own is the best value by a wide margin. For a group of three or four, or for a day that links Son Tra, the Marble Mountains and Hoi An, a private tour starts to compare well with a group tour per head, and gives you the car, the timing and a guide of your own.
